We hope everyone had a peaceful and enjoyable time with family over our break. Our return to school has basketball season in full swing, starting tonight as our Varsity Cougar teams host MCI. All league games start with the girls at 6:00 pm, followed by the boys game, usually starting at 7:30 pm. This weekend (Friday and Saturday) sees us host our first basketball tournament of the season. The schedule is posted on the Cougar Sport page of this newsletter.
Next week we are into the grade 12 provincial ELA exam, and then the 47th annual Cougar High School Hockey tournament takes place from January 14 to 16. Schedule information is again available on the Cougar Sport page of this newsletter.
Our Science Lab that has been under construction since June is close to complete. We have started to move in and await the last couple of hook ups before the room is ready for our science classes.
Home and School Meeting is on Wednesday, January 14 at 7 pm. Come out and you will get the bonus of a tour of the science lab.
