Our annual Terry Fox Run will be held next Friday, Sept.23
rd. It was 36 years ago that Terry Fox started his Marathon of Hope. He had hoped to cross Canada and raise money for cancer research. Unfortunately Terry Fox could not finish the marathon, but as he said “Even if I don’t finish, we need others to continue. It’s got to keep going without me.” We as a caring school community need to keep Terry’s dream alive. Please collect as many pledges as you can before next Friday. Let’s surpass last year’s total of $1198. We can do it! Your support is greatly appreciated.
