Collegiate Students representing Pembina Valley Hawks at Carman Elementary

I LOVE TO READ MONTH brought in some Pembina Valley Midget Hawks players to read to KG Kids. Kolton Shindle, Logan Rose, and Noah Goertzen, spent some time reading in small groups and answering questions about their hockey experiences.  Who would have known that these three ALSO were KG KIDS at one time! So wonderful to have these role-model boys visit our classroom!

Ethan Clark is representing team Manitoba at the 39th Simplot Games FEb 16-18.  This event brings together the best athletes in High School School Track and Field and will have over 2000 athletes compete.

Ski Trip ....

The Grade 7 – 12 Ski Trip is on February 24.  Sign up with Kyla in the office and an information package will be sent home.  All forms and money are due back to the office by February 17.

Grade 8 French

Grade 8 French students worked with a French chef on February 2. They made salad and waffles, learning French terms for their ingredients and for cooking techniques. The waffles smelled delicious! Thanks Mrs. Rouire for organizing.
